Advantages - the unit

is an inexpensive alternative to the Mitsubishi MUT 2 unit and is designed specifically for full pressure bleeding purposes
Differential bleeding can be done without the engine running
shortens the bleeding process to a few seconds….and only requires the technician to switch the ignition on (with or without motor running) and a switch to be pressed
allows the driver to lock the centre differential to a variable value should the active system fail due to hard wiring or electronic component failures or a transmission component failure occur – providing a “fail safe” mode. For example, the car can be driven at near full competition speed…even with a driveshaft broken…this is not possible with the system under active control
In performance tests, the override system returned sec/km performances close to that of the active control
The unit has a “one button” feature which locks the centre differential to the maximum pressure for 30 seconds – allowing the driver to regain the road with any amount of throttle and maximum traction
Should the installer choose, after blleding the unit can be simply disconnected at the 2 newly installed 6 way plugs at the "Active Centre Differential" system electronic control unit. The male and female plugs on at the electronic control unit and chassis loom can then be connected together, the car reverting to the standard homologated electrical control format. This operation should take seconds only.
