Transmissions

An area we have always specialised in. Historically we have long established connections with X-Trac and Quaife, assisting them with development of new transmissions. Having extensive experience with many different motorsport gear kit manufacturers, we currently recommend, supply, build and maintain Italian manufactured Colotti “dog” gearbox for the Mitsubishi Evolution models.

We have extensive recent development experience with the Ferrari V6 246 Dino and Lancia Stratos transmission having redesigned the gear linkage and gearbox internals to improve strength, reliability and dramatically improve the gear change quality. Ferrari have traditionally had heavy, slow and imprecise gearboxes. Our Stratos had one of the worst gear changes that we had ever experienced when we first purchased the car with its “works” gearbox fitted. It now has what is probably one of the best gearboxes in a “historic” or “modern” rally car.
